Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 25 June 2025 · Effective: 25 June 2025
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Cadran", "we", "us", "our" refers to the watch repair atelier operating from 55/12 Rattanathibet Road, Bang Kraso, Mueang Nonthaburi, Nonthaburi 11000, Thailand.
- "Client", "you", "your" refers to any person who submits an enquiry, leaves a watch for assessment or service, or engages Cadran in any service agreement.
- "Service" refers to any watch repair, cleaning, regulation, or restoration work described in the agreed scope.
- "Scope" refers to the written statement of work confirmed before any service begins.
- "Watch" or "Piece" refers to any timepiece submitted to Cadran for assessment or service.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry through this website, dropping off a watch for assessment, or verbally confirming a service scope, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a service agreement.
3. Service Description
Cadran offers three published service levels: Essential Refresh (฿3,900), Precision Regulation (฿16,500), and Grand Restoration (฿34,500). These services are described in detail on the Solutions page. All services are subject to prior assessment and written scope confirmation. Prices are inclusive of standard scope items and are denominated in Thai Baht.
4. Assessment and Scope
All watches submitted to Cadran are assessed before a scope is agreed. The assessment is provided at no charge and carries no obligation to proceed with a service. The written scope confirms the service level, specific work to be performed, the price, and an estimated timeline.
If additional requirements are identified during the service (for example, a worn part not visible before disassembly), we will pause work and contact you before proceeding. No additional work will be carried out without your explicit agreement.
5. Client Responsibilities
By leaving a watch with Cadran, you confirm that:
- You are the owner of the watch, or have the owner's authority to authorise service work.
- You have disclosed any known damage, water ingress, prior repairs, or modifications to the best of your knowledge.
- You accept that older or previously modified movements may carry increased risk during servicing, and that Cadran cannot be held responsible for pre-existing fragilities that manifest during professional service.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at collection. We accept cash (Thai Baht) and major debit/credit cards. Payment is required before the watch is released. For Grand Restoration services, a 50% deposit may be requested at scope confirmation where parts sourcing costs are significant.
If a service has been completed and the watch is not collected within sixty days of the completion notification, Cadran reserves the right to charge a reasonable storage fee.
7. Timelines
Estimated completion timelines are provided at scope confirmation. These are estimates, not binding commitments. Complex work may take longer if parts sourcing is delayed or additional issues are discovered. We will keep you informed of any material changes to the timeline.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, design, imagery, and code — is the property of Cadran or its content licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Watch repair involves working with complex mechanical or electronic systems, some of which may be aged or fragile. While we take every reasonable care in our work, we cannot warrant specific outcomes. The rate report provided with Precision Regulation and Grand Restoration services documents performance achieved at the time of testing; ongoing accuracy will vary with use, environment, and wear.
We do not provide opinions on watch valuations or authenticity. Information shared with clients about movements and parts is based on our practical experience and is not financial or insurance advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
Cadran's liability in connection with any service is limited to the service fee paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from service work. We carry professional liability cover for accidental damage arising directly from our service work — please ask for details if required for insurance purposes.
11. Termination and Cancellation
You may cancel a service at any time before disassembly begins, at no charge. If disassembly has begun, a partial fee reflecting work completed may apply. Cadran may decline to proceed with a service if the condition of the watch presents unacceptable risk.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nonthaburi Province, Thailand.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
